Hi!

My name is Nichole and I am so excited to share my blogging experiences with you. Traveling has been  a passion of mine since my college days at Florida State. Go Noles!

Both my parents served in the military, as a result, I grew up eating microwave dinners and pre-packaged foods.  It wasn’t until I started traveling the world (Spain, Bermuda, Costa Rica, and Mexico) that I started to venture out and try new foods, recipes, and discover my addiction to traveling and learning about other cultures.

After getting a dual bachelors in Psychology and Political Science, I knew I wanted to impact the lives of those around me and make a difference. I worked for a NFP organization counseling children with drug and alcohol dependency problems as well as adults with mental illness. Upon leaving, and still wanting to impact those around me, I decided to start a blog, one with the potential to reach thousands and potentially millions of people.

Currently, I am a teacher to rambunctious middle schoolers and working part-time selling jewelry to couples who are celebrating love. Recently married (6.21.2014) to Kelly and loving every minute of every moment. We are a family of 6: two rescued kittens (Eden & Kismet) and two sugar gliders (Calypso & Molokai). Studying Italian and preparing for our Great Italian Adventure Fall 2018.

For me, this isn’t just a food blog, but an everyday, lifestyle blog. I blog about things that I enjoy: travel, fitness, love, life, and of course FOOD 🙂
